Adult Mental Health

The Deaconess Adult Mental Health Services provide restorative inpatient treatment program and comprehensive care for adults age 18 or older struggling with issues such as:

  • detoxification
  • trauma issues
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • other mood disorders
  • thought disorders

The team at Deaconess at Bethany Adult Mental Health Services provides psychiatric evaluation, nursing care, case management and therapeutic services in a safe atmosphere sensitive to diverse needs and population.  Our comprehensive approach to these services provides the patient with the necessary information and resources to transition seamlessly into follow up services upon discharge.

At Deaconess Mental Health Services we understand the stigma often associated with illness.  Our commitment for caring and unconditional positive regard promotes a safe, accepting environment in which our patients can seek wellness and restoration through excellent psychiatric care.

Our inpatient hospitalization program offers these services to restore the emotional and physical health of our patients:

  • psychiatric services
  • medical/surgical treatment
  • activity therapy
  • social services including discharge planning
  • daily living assessments
  • follow-up evaluations

Drug and Alcohol Dependency

The professionals at the Adult Mental Health Services specialize in helping adults recognize their dependency on alcohol or drugs. Often, these individuals have lost the ability to function well on the job and to maintain positive family relationships while under the influence of chemical substances.

We’re here to help, but the first step is yours. For information, call .
