The Deaconess Virtual Nursery allows family and friends from near or far the chance to meet your newborn by way of the Internet, viewing only the baby's arrival information and birth photograph.

Parents who chose to display their newborn on the Deaconess Hospital web page, sign a consent form and a digital photograph is then made and placed in this virtual nursery within the next few days. The image and information remain on the site for three months.

Parents receive a password and viewing instructions to share at their discretion with family and friends to announce the arrival of their newborn.

This process ensures that only friends and family who have received the password and instructions from the newborn's parents have access the baby's specific information and photograph.
